Day +25
We had a great day today! Jesse is talking again, and laughing and being cheeky and rude! And best of all he is getting excited about things, like making elderflower cordial this June and eating crumpets and watching Raven! He even had a tiny bit of milk and held it down.
Jesse hasn't been sick for nearly 24 hours and his tummy cramps seems lighter. He hasn't had any morphine or codeine because he doesn't want it. He still has the GVHD rash and his left ear has been very red and swollen (more GVHD), but it doesn't seem to bother him. He does still have quite bad diarrhea although it is less frequent.
We made it to to the playroom this evening and had a go on the game cube and we started a new Famous Five story. He only slept a few hours this afternoon (not all day) and he is still putting on weight. Lets hope it continues to improve. It is ward round tomorrow so we'll see what the great man says...
I am going to bed as I am exhausted, Jesse has worn me out. Sending lots of love to you all, keep in touch,
lots of love,
Claudia

Dear Jesse and Claudia,
So good to read about your better day and hope this may be the turning point.
I was in Glasgow at the week-end staying with Jane's future in-laws and it was great. Saw the Glasgow School of Art and would have loved to have surprised Lily but didn't see her of course!
lots of love to you both,
Sue

My emails are still being returned as spam ! I'm back Friday. Claudia, am I correct in thinking Derek will be coming up on the weekend? Am working Tuesday and Wednes. nights next week, but happy to be navigationally challenged and meet up one of the other evenings- tell me which.
HI Jesse, so pleased you are doing so well and feeling a bit better - lets hope you feel better and better by the moment - you bet!! I think The Who said that. Knock-Knock "Who s There?" Doctor. "Doctor Who" The old one s are best. Sarah was in Brighton on Sunday with Jenna and Millie and knocked Dereks door but nobody home. I expect he was out to lunch - it was 4/5pm - never mind the babies will have to play another day. Hope all is going well in London/Brighton. Lots of LOVE to you ALL, Jenny & Phil x
Hi Jesse,
You are such a brave soldier. You are doing so well. Well done. Keep it up!
Love from us all in sunny but windy Los Angeles.
Dear Jess,
Sounds like you are doing much better!! I am really thrilled to hear that. Skippy and Poochiella are also excited to hear the news.
I had to send a carrier pigeon to them as they are both on the run from the police, due to Skippy's brief flirtation with a life of crime. As i probably mentioned Skippy was stealing carrots in order to fund his peanut butter addiction! Anyway Skippy and Poochiella are now in Cuba with Fidel Castro drinking rum. They were wondering if Kipper would like to take a brief holiday to visit.
Poochiella wanted to get Kipper something and Skippy suggested that she buy him 'flowers, chocolates, promises you dont intend to keep...' I think that perhaps Skippy watched 'Beauty and the Beast' too many times! What do you suggest?
Lots and lots of love from 84 New Street!
Everyone is wishing you all the best of luck!
All my love especially to you all,
Leo
